Points System

This point system encourages teams to strive for victory while also acknowledging the effort put forth in securing a draw. At the end of a season, teams are ranked based on the total number of points earned, with tiebreakers used to determine final standings if teams have the same number of points. During a Match the Home Teams name is always displayed on lest side and the Away Team on the right of the scoreboard.

3 points for a win – If a team emerges victorious at the end of regulation time or extra time, they earn 3 points.

1 point for a draw – If neither team secures a win at the end of regulation time or extra time, the match ends in a draw, and each team earns 1 point.

0 points for a loss – If a team fails to win the match, they earn no points

Goal Difference

The goal difference is calculated by subtracting the total number of goals conceded by a team from the total number of goals scored. The team with the higher goal difference is ranked higher in the standings.

Goals Scored

If teams have the same goal difference, the number of goals scored throughout the season is used as the next tiebreaker. The team with more goals scored is ranked higher.

Head-to-Head Record

If teams are still tied after considering goal difference and goals scored, their head-to-head record against each other during the season is taken into account. The team with the better head-to-head record (more points obtained in matches between the tied teams) is ranked higher.

Fair Play

In the unlikely event that teams are still tied after considering the above criteria, fair play rankings are used as a tiebreaker. This includes factors such as the number of yellow and red cards received throughout the season.
