Understanding the financial commitment required to operate a club in official MSSA competitions is crucial. Below is a breakdown of key expenses:
- Team Registration Fee: $1,049.99 Early Bird, $1199.99 regular
- Player Registration Fee: $35 per player (minimum 15 players required)
- Referee Fees: $125–$150 per game (an additional $25 applies if a fourth official is present)
Estimated Total Costs for Spring 2025 Season
Expect total expenses to range between $2,600 and $3,000.
To ensure affordability, payments can be made in installments through the Maryland League website using flexible payment options like Afterpay or Klarna.
Law Changes Implementation
Starting in Spring 25, Maryland League will align with the latest updates to the IFAB Laws of the Game for the 2024/25 season. This measure underscores the league’s dedication to player safety, ensuring timely medical attention and minimizing the risk of further harm, reflecting its ongoing commitment to player health and well-being.
Additional Concussion Substitution
